P.S. This is not productive

Looking through every page of housewares on Anthropoligie's website... then deciding everything is too expensive and going to H&M instead.

Pinning elaborate recipes I know I'm never going to make.

Taking everything out of my closet thinking I'm going to do a clean out, only to get stressed and put it all back in.

Telling myself I'm only going on Instagram for five minutes.

Going on a Target run when there is nothing I actually need. (Hello new mules.)

Hope your Wednesday is more productive than mine!

  2. I don't know. There is something about the whole idea of needing to be productive all the time that resonates with me less and less. Particularly because I'm coming to realise that I often find myself just scrolling my phone in moments when I'm not working towards a tangible goal and that really doesn't show that I'm able to relax, either... Plus, scrolling all the pages on the Anthropologie website shows dedication ;) I think I almost bought those same mules at Target over the weekend (I say I think because Target's site isn't very reliable for Canadians, and that link may have taken me to an entirely different shoe that you intended.) Looking forward to seeing you style them either way. And as always, loving how you look in orange hues.

  4. I love that this post! Probably because this is the mood I am in too! I'm so sluggish, don't feel like doing anything, and these sales are really urging me to spend more than I can. Love your sweater btw, That color is gorgeous!

  6. I miss Target runs and all the fun purchases those led to so very much. Productivity is impossible when Target is in the mix, as far as I'm concerned.

  12. And if we all didn't have days like this, life would be so boring. Can I tell you how many times I pull out recipes from Food & Wine and they sit in my cupboard (and can you see how old fashioned I am...LOL) I just don't always trust the Pinterest recipes...but I do have enough of those too....

  15. There are times where we just need to take a break and not be productive with work. Instead productive with Black Friday shopping!

  17. The first line made me LOL. I love Anthro's home decor and always stock up when its on sale.

  18. Hahaha I do the same thing on the Anthro website! Even with sales it's a little overpriced if you ask me. LOVE your sweater in this post!

  19. It is easy to get caught up looking at things we will never buy and never cook. I do it too! Your outfit also looks amazing!
