Autumnal Shades

As we set out into November, I suppose it's time I start embracing fall a bit more. A lot of the trees in my neighborhood are very lackluster this year, with leaves turning from green to brown and depriving me of the one of the most redeeming qualities of the season. Perhaps I should plan a day to take a foliage drive before it's too late. But in the meantime, I've got my own pop of yellow/rust with this Zara bodysuit. Honestly I was hoping it would be more rust orange than mustard yellow, but that is a common problem I've had when seeking out the shade. Regardless, it pairs beautifully with leopard's chocolate browns and tans, resulting in the inspiration for this outfit.

  2. I love that bodysuit! The colour may not have been exactly what you were looking for but I think it's really striking and that fold in the fabric is great.

  5. This is a gorgeous fall outfit! I love the pretty fall shades paired together. We have been so lucky this year with fall color. Our whole neighborhood has gorgeous oaks and maples and everywhere you look there are reds, oranges, and yellows. Now if my husband could just be home to take blog photos for me and capture it all! Haha!

  11. The complementary contrast between your mustard yellow Zara draped V-neck bodysuit and dark blue high-waist denim trouser jeans looks very attractive and fashionable, and your hair looks pretty too.

  13. I find there are some colours that are just so hard to pin down in the right shade and rust is one of them. That said, I have always thought all shades of yellow and orange suit you beautifully, so I think the fact that this bodysuit is more of a mustard tone isn't really a bad thing - the colour, while not what you wanted, is still gorgeous on you. And I love your hair in these photos, too, the curls are just perfect.
