Color Coordinated Brunch

I'm so happy to have had so many opportunities over the past year to meet up with other Connecticut bloggers, and I will never say no to a brunch, especially when it's at one of my favorite restaurants in New Haven, Harvest.

When the brunch was being organized, we decided to color coordinate - neutrals and pops of red, for the photos, naturally. Thankfully we had a wonderful waiter who happily snapped group photos for us. It started off as a very rainy morning, but as brunch stretched into late afternoon, the sun came out to reveal a very blustery fall day, hence the ponytail - I just couldn't deal with the wind!

These are the last of my photos featuring the fall foliage. Now it's all gone and covered under a blanket of snow. Fall is forever too short a season!

  1. I love that you all decided to coordinate your outfits for photos, thats such a cute idea. And speaking of the photos, what an absolutely beautiful day for them - the sunshine, all the golden leaves, and, of course, your black and leopard outfit... it's all really fall perfection as far as I'm cocerned, and since I'm looking out at blowing snow flakes right now, it makes me envious even though I know it's not your current reality anymore than it is mine ;)

I was at a local blogger meet up on Saturday, it was an odd feeling. It's the second one I have been to and its not quite what i expect them to be. Does that happen to you ?
