Scalloped hems again

My love of scalloped hemlines continues with this cute mini skirt from OASAP. It's a bit shorter than I'd normally be comfortable with, but works to show off these fun faux thigh-high tights, which are incidentally, a bit too short. I'm not sure what size person can fit into these 'one size' tights, as I am only 5' 2"!

Sizes are funny things though, this sweater I thrifted last week is an extra large, which goes to show that you should never limit yourself to just looking on the racks with your usual size. Sometimes adorable sweaters of merino wool made in Italy are hiding there, waiting for the right person to take the time to look.

  3. That skirt is fun and flirty! I never trust anything that is one size only...that usually means it won't fit!

  6. Wooo! Look at those legs mama! This skirt and the tights look great on you! I could not agree with you more about sizes. I am normally a size 4, but with thrifting and size differences in stores, I have clothing anywhere from a 2 to a 16 and an XS to an XL! You never know until and unless you try it on!

  7. You rock the mini skirt! I know it's shorter than what you usually wear but you look great, oh and the tights, so so hot!

  9. Oh, those tights are just adorable! If they aren't long enough for you 5'2", though, it's hard to know who they might be long enough for ;) Even so, I love the look of the lace detailling peeky out from under your skirt. And that sparkly necklace is a wonderful touch, too!

  11. Those tights are too cute! And yes, one size things are so weird, funny to think who they would fit perfectly.
And yep...I have so many different sized things. I recently got an XS cardigan. It's a little tight and I need to stretch it out a bit to button it properly. haha, but its so cute!

  15. Oh dang, those tights sound short indeed, because you're quite tiny, Miss Lyddie! :) But you look absolutely darling here. I like that the tights take center stage. And your puuuursseee. I must put hearts to show my love for that purse. <3

I think that sweater is pretty dashing, though. Ugh, it's the perfect color and it fits you to a T! *__* Bet it's nice and cozy, too.

  18. The vintage bag is so sleek. I love the tassels on it. Clothing sizes can be really weird. They've also changed over time so I try to check at least 1 size up and down whenever I'm browsing.

  38. One thing I miss is being able to wear all my fun tights and last summer I bought quite a few on clearance to wear this winter. They are just too uncomfortable with my belly right now. LOVING your faux thigh highs though! And I am soooo swooning over that bag...its gorgeous!
