With more than half the day already wasted to my despair, I knew I had to rally. Sick of my endless cycle of denim I remembered this gem of a maxi dress tucked away in the back of my closet. As comfortable as pajamas, as easy as denim, but the appearance that I was really trying. And I suppose I was, I was really trying not to ruin the rest of my day with my negative thoughts.
Spring is here, the time to bloom is coming, if I could enable myself to embrace change.

I've always been snobbishly skeptical about Seasonal Affective Disorder, but I have become a believer more and more. From about November to about end of March I don't want to do anything that I don't have to (except Christmas!). We have snow now too. Friday--snowed, Today 72, Wednesday--snow. So over it. You look gorgeous in this printed maxi!
ReplyDeleteI think this dress looks amazing on you! I love the leopard bag with this outfit too!

Oh good thought--I need to remember my maxi dresses this time of year too! I've been in such a jeans-rut because I need comfort on Mondays, but somehow I forgot about maxi dresses! I love this one, especially with your lace up flats peeking out! :)

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely dress!
ReplyDeleteThis dress is fabulous! I'm just back from Europe and catching up on two weeks worth of your outfit posts and seriously, what a place to start - especially considering there are also lace-up flats under said maxi. I imagine that means you had this dress tailored, and what a good decision - it deserves to be worn over (and over and over) because it's so lovely. And I can only imagine how wonderful it will look on a sunny day!
