When I was over the other day I saw it looking dejected in my parents closet, so I swapped it for the coat I'd arrived in, and I'll undoubtedly get some more wear out of it this spring, as the chill in the air is still holding on strong.

I have always loved your coats. This is one of the best you own. Glad you got it back from the parents' closet. Love the fur collar.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a great Easter, Lydia.
I LOVE that coat (speaking as someone who also has a rather laughably coat collection....).

I think coats are one of the hardest things to purge....they are usually great for so many years, and yet they take up so much space!
ReplyDeleteI love your pop of pink with your purse too!! jodie

I have so many coats and do the same things. I wear one to my parents and end up wearing a different one home! I love this coat your wearing!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful coat - I am wondering how much storage you're still taking up at your folks' place ? (Note I am not one to point a finger, as after having moved out over 10 years ago I still had a few things back home)
ReplyDeleteLovely coat! Great pop of pink with the cute bag!

I'm with you on being guilty of owning way too many coats! Coats, jackets, blazers -- they're my weakness! This one you're wearing is perfect! Love that bag too!

What a pretty color coat and the fur collar detail is stunning!
ReplyDeleteHaha sometimes I've done the same thing, left and forgotten clothes at my parents. Glad to see you picked that coat back up! It's amazing, especially for the transition from winter.

I love the coat, and it was totally worth the swap out I think! Your coat collection sounds really impressive--I only have a couple of coats, it's something I don't buy myself often. I don't know why, I wear the heck out of the coats I own!
ReplyDeleteThe coat looks great on you, sweetie. Also, I adore your pink bag:) Kisses
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love that coat! Great find! And how simple the entire outfit is yet so chic!

It's sad but a bit telling of the lives our generation will live, I think, that even when we move out, we have to leave so much of ourselves at our parents' homes because we will never have the space for it. I hope that some day we all have the closets of our dreams but for now, like you, I store a lot of things at my parents' place and sadly, don't have regular access to the pieces I've left behind. How wonderful to be able to swap out the coat you came with for another one! And this one is a gem, the colour is perfect for spring.
