November

The start of November brings with it many things; we've turned the clocks so sunsets are painfully early, halloween will be cleared out of stores at light speed and Christmas will soon be saturating every facet of our lives. (Thanksgiving is one of those holidays that sort of gets shoved the corner, marketing-wise we only treat it as a segue way to Christmas.)

The next two months will go by in a flash, and before you know it the year will be over. You are all freaking out too, right?

  1. I am absolutely freaking out too. In fact, I have been pretty much since Canadian Thanksgiving, which for me marks the end of travelling in a given year (because holidays when its cold are just no fun) and therefore means the year is pretty much done. I've been on the slow slope down towards the end of the year for weeks already and on one hand I'm sort of grateful that 2015 is over because it's been a bit bumpy but on the other, I can't believe it's coming to an end so quickly! But say that vie; sartorially, I like to think it's been my best year yet and I would certainly argue that it's been yours, this look is fabulous - I love seeing a chambray shirt without buttons, it's so unexpected and fun.

  2. How excited are you that you can wear short sleeves still?! I love this pretty chambray top.

I'm kind of excited for the holiday season to start. Normally, I get so frustrated by all of the obligations and stress, but this year I vow to make it fun. We're kicking things off with a long weekend in Chicago for the Christmas market and I can't freaking wait.

  4. I love autumn and November definitely came very quickly. Great outfit. The only thing that I am freaking out a bit about is that it won't be too long before Christmas time. Ahhh, I need to prepare very soon. :-)

  6. Yep...poor Thanksgiving. I'm a Christmas freak but I always make myself wait until the day after Thanksgiving before I get in the holiday spirit. I at least owe turkey day that much ;)

  9. The short sleeve chambray shirts are so cool. Both of mine are popovers/button ups and I think short sleeved styles lend themselves to being even more versatile. The shoes are perfect too!

  14. Yep, I had those same thoughts today too, such as "Why is it so dark?" This time of year does really zoom by, but I love it because I have my birthday, Thanksgiving, and Christmas to look forward to. I love your chambray tee in this outfit. I have a similar style from Gap and it's so comfy.
