Snowing

Snow has been making some regular appearances this week. Nothing too bad yet, just a few flurries. There is a part of me that loves snow - the part that wants to go out and take pretty photos and then not have to leave the house, shovel anything, drive anywhere, or deal with the aftermath in any way.

I feel like all my outfits this week have been pretty much the same. Jeans, brown boots, me desperately trying to pretend like I'm not dying of cold. It does not look like conditions will improve any time soon, so hopefully you won't get bored of my current formula.

  1. Well it's freezing cold here but no snow. I much rather have snow. That beanie is too cute and something I'd wear. I even own a similar scarf and similar red coat. You are so fabulous while still being warm+casual!

    Have a Great Weekend, Lydia!

  12. Exactly! If I wasn't so cold all the damn time, I would love snow! It's pretty! But it is also slushy and cold and wet and makes everything a pain!

  13. Those are my exact thoughts on snow! I love it if I can just look at it, take a few pretty photos in it and then go back inside to drink hot chocolate... at which point I think it should all melt away, thereby not inconveniencing me any further. I'm a dreamer, I know, which is why I moved to the Pacific coast ;) It's actually been surprisingly cold here this year, which is why I've been wearing my jeans so much. But better than rain! Personally, I think formula dressing is just logical in winter. And besides, if it isn't broken, don't fix it, and this look of yours is far from broken. I especially love this hat, scarf, coat combination. The colours are gorgeous and they suit you perfectly.

  16. Your formula is perfect for this weather. Don't stop! We're supposed to get more snow tonight. My kids had school canceled because of the wind chill and may have it off tomorrow. At least it was sunny today and I snuck in one set of outfit photos.

  22. Snow makes winter photos look so fun! Unfortunately it doesn't feel much fun when you step outside these days... the wind is almost unbearable. It might be time for me to invest in a hat and wear pants for once.

  23. You don't look cold at all, just fabulous! I love the bling accent to the hat. Nice touch!

  25. No I love to see real everyday looks, I get bored to see those - ah, I'm looking so gorgeous in snow playing in my pretty dress or tutu skirt. At first it looks adorable, but then it gets boring, because I think most of us are trying to deal with winter, cold and stay warm & stylish. It's always helps to see how other do that and it can inspire for new outfits, because it's easy to stuck in the same outfits just to stay warm. You look gorgeous with your wonderful red coat and hat with a bit of sparkle. Such a great combo how to dress up casual look.
