The haze

During the late summer, the falling sun hits this particular spot in the evenings to give that brilliant hazy light. I found that magic moment last year, and I have been trying to recapture it. But not everything can be duplicated.

  1. The great thing about not being able to recapture the same thing you did before is that you can capture something new--these photos look lovely, Lyddie! I love that white haze.

Your necklace is very pretty~ oooh, blue is always so nice on you. I hope you have an excellent Friday that successfully crowns the end of a long week! <3

  4. I think these photos came out beautiful! I am bummed that we're losing sunlight which means less time for photos.

This outfit is a great for that in-between weather that Sept. brings!

  7. Sigh. I wish I could do the golden hour more often in my photos. But between work and kids, etc. I hardly ever do. But your photos are ALWAYS amazing.

  9. There is nothing quite like end of summer sunlight, especially in the early evening... it can be hard to schedule your time right to get outside at that exact moment, but when you do, it's magical. Love your shorts, the print is gorgeous :)

  31. We're always chasing the light aren't we? Sometimes I wish I lived on the west side still so I could capture the sunset light... sigh.

This look is so amazingly well put together-- you look ready to shoot for a catalog!
