Small Changes

Even a small change can make a big difference. I was thinking about this the other night when I got home from work and rather than making dinner, I made a chocolate cake. As I looked over the recipie, I was thinking how similar it was so many other recipes. Change a few things and I could have had brownies, a couple other adjustments and I could be making pancakes for breakfast.

A few small changes were all it took to make this workout outfit into a look I'd happily get brunch in or run a few errands.

A few small changes.

  3. Coming home from work and making a chocolate cake instead of dinner sounds like a brilliant idea - and a great way to get a break from your normal workday routine, which we all need. And it's true that those kinds of breaks or changes really are so much simpler to take/make than we tend to tell ourselves that they are, but once you start making those small changes, it gets easier and easier, until you feel like you can tackle anything. I'd love to see how you'd style this look for work, speaking of changes, because it looks so different than my usually work outfits from my office days that you have me very intrigued!

  4. You're so right, Lydia!! This jacket looks so stylish---that even though it's a work out brand, it could easily transform to other occasions! And of course the shoes make it fab!!

  5. That athletic brand shirt and jacket totally work for other things - you've styled them brilliantly. Also, I'm not almost 100% going to stop on my way home today for cake making supplies....

  16. Love how the jeans help dress up your owrkout clothes nicely! :)

And I know what you mean with the recipe - I'm not great in the kitchen though so when I make small changes and end up with something different it's usually because I made a mistake, haha! I'd love to be skilled enough to be able to change recipes but right now it's hard enough just following them the way they are meant to be done, ha!

Hope you have had a great weekend! :)
