Freedom to wear summer whites

This post is written in partnership with Dryel, I was selected to be a brand ambassador for them, but as always, all my views and opinions are my own.

A quick scroll through my last few posts would probably be enough evidence to convince anyone that I love wearing white. All year round, but especially during the summer, it's what I find myself reaching for again and again.

I know many people choose to avoid white for the simple reason that it is destine to attract spills, and even more so in the summer, when I find myself with a chocolate ice cream cone on a 90° afternoon, or a glass of red sangria on a breezy patio, or the iced latté in the cup with the lid that still manages to escape... Yes, all real examples from the past month when my whites were saved by the awesome stain-busting pen Dryel sent over for me to try. I'm not exaggerating in the slightest when I tell you that not 20 minutes before we took these photos I spilled a little coffee on my top at Starbucks. So I simply grabbed a napkin, place it on the inside under the stain, and went to work with the pen. The stain diminished in no time, and as you can see, the top is picture perfect.

I love that tucking this little pen into my purse grants me the freedom to wear all the white I love without the worry a little spill is going to ruin my day.

  1. I need something like that - does it work on other colours and not just white?! haha! I'm always spilling's harder now I have two toddlers who never help keep things clean for long!

Hope you are having a wonderful week!

  2. I know this is intended for clothes, but I have some towels that I KNOW I am going to get this for! As always looking great and also, how do you find a bra that works so well with a white shirt!?! I never wear them because I can't figure it out.

  3. I love my white too, Lydia!! And these pens have really revolutionized the occasional stain.
My mom (the 70+ model on my blog) always says that white is easier because you can just bleach it too!!

  4. White is one of my favourite colours to wear, but mostly I am pretty lucky/careful about spills. I do remember when the Tide Pen debuted, I was sure it would save my garments from spills, but to be honest, when I do wear white, I most often find that I lean against or sit on something, meaning I get marks on my back that I don't notice until it's sadly too late. If someone could come up with a pen like this that could work hours after the fact, I would be beyond thrilled.

  5. I love the simplicity and wearability of this look Lydia.
As a fan of all things white I don't carry a pen but do treat the garment as soon as I get home.

  6. I love Dryel. Haven't tried their pen but when I'm done with my Tide Pen I will have to try this one! I always try to carry my tide pen with me because of my two littles!

  7. This is such a cute look, and I'm all about the stain removing pen :)

  8. I am a huge fan of your summer style. Love this easy summer outfit and the slides!
