Cozy greys

My first purchase of the new year was this cozy grey sweater dress, a steal at Old Navy. I love that it has long sleeves and the pattern in the knit is really flattering. While I generally try to avoid knits that don't include wool, cashmere, or some other natural fiber known for it's warmth, this dress hit all the other marks I was looking for, including price point.

And yes, I'm hard at work getting the cost per wear on these over the knee boots way down.

    I have a very similar long grey sweater - I don't think it technically qualifies as a dress because it has side slits but it is wonderfully flattering and, while devoid of all fabrics known for their warmth (thanks to my allergies), it's one of my favourite cold weather pieces. I suspect this will quickly become one of yours, too. And those boots - keep wearing them, they just get more fabulous!

    I usually avoid knits but I quite like this one - it looks very cozy on you. And, of course, perfect with those boots.

    That dress definitely has the look of something much more expensive, I'm impressed it was an Old Navy find! Keep rocking those boots too, I love them. Although the more you wear them, the more convinced I am that I *need* a pair!
