The chill

Just when I thought summer would last a bit longer, I woke up to temperatures in the upper 40°s and put tights on for the first time since April.

I'm trying out a new pair from Kushyfoot who's comfort lines all feature tights with massaging soles. While I can't say this made a huge difference, any extra padding for my feet is welcome!

They also sent a pair of fleece lined of tights; when things start to get real cold, those do keep your legs and feet so much warmer. If you live anywhere that has a long, freezing winter, and like to wear dresses as much as I do, I'd highly recommend picking up a pair.

  7. You look great in those colors and I am searching for a vest like that. It's not cool enough here for tights, but I am ready when Mr Cool pays a visit.

  9. I don't think I could reasonably wear fleece-lined tights were I live, since the temperature rarely goes below zero... but I love the idea of them, they just sound so cosy! Speaking of things I love, the colour palette of this look is just perfect, the soft, creamy shade of your dress looks so lovely against black :)

  20. Fleece lines tights sound great for the cooler days, we still aren't there yet, this summer I bought some wool tights, they say they are pretty warm and not so bulky, we'll see how they are once the cold weather gets here. Hope you enjoy your weekend Lyddie! :)
