New shoes

I always seem to choose the most overcast days to wear this ridiculously bright orange color, which never actually photographs orange, but rather red, and there is nothing I can seem to do about it.

I picked up these brown sandals at TJMaxx over the weekend, since both pairs of brown sandals I currently own are a few years old and really showing signs of wear. They were on clearance and marked down twice, to the final price of $20. How could I not?

  2. I just love that skirt - it's such a perfect cut and color (even if it does photograph a tad on the red side).

  7. I totally thought the skirt was red when I looked at it on my monitor. That being said, I think it is a gorgeous skirt regardless of the color!

  14. Photographing colors true is always one of my biggest challenges. Green doesn't always work out for me, especially if it's bright.

$20 sandals are awesome. I like the contrast piping!

  19. This is a beautiful look, even if it is a little hard to imagine the skirt being orange, because it does look red / coral to me. The new sandals are cute too :)
