It's good to get out of the backyard

I must say that I admire those of you who go around scouting new locations for photos everyday; I've definitely fallen into a 'same place, same time' rut.
But this weekend, after buying my lottery tickets for Tuesday's drawing, because my wish is to be a millionaire (not too much to ask, really); I noticed that I was parked right besides this brick wall that happens to be a perfect place for some outfit photos. Sure, people walk by and they give you that extra long glance of "what the hell is she doing?" But it's worth it to be out of the backyard.

  1. Love everything about this outfit. I wish I took more outdoor pictures but I just don't have a ton of time in the morning and the evenings are already dark...plus I look horrid so yes I give HUGE credit to people that scout locations for their photos.

  15. good eye my dear. you bet your bottom dollar it's a sweatshirt blazer. i got it at the philly zara in fall of 2009, before it was cool to wear sweats in public (ahem, harem). zara was ahead of the game with the trend. if there isn't a local one check online! you can definitely online shop with zara! this is the only blazer i own because most of them fit too tight on my shoulders or too short on my arms. it's a guessing game but eventually you find the perfect one!

  30. I agree completely, the wish to be a millionaire is not too much to ask at all :) This is why I, too, buy lottery tickets. Although I must say, you are looking fabulous in spite of not having millions. The brick wall is fabulous location and you look effortlessly chic in these photos. I am completely lusting after your clutch and necklace!

  38. Cutey cute! I adore your little necklace. There is something about gold leaves, just something, a little something~~~ la la la.

I'm envious that you can go out and brave people's looks. I still fear that. I am like a shark who hides in a coral reef. That was a shatty comparison. Well. Anyway.. YOU LOOK GREAT! 8D
