Farewell, My Pet

Yesterday we had to say goodbye to our beloved Chloe. She lived an incredibly long live of over 19 years and brought joy to our lives each and every day. When I took that last set of outfit photos, I was adamant that Chloe be in them, because I knew it would be our last chance, and I'm grateful that Chloe has been a part of this blog since the beginning. Even thought I've known this day has been coming, that hasn't made it any easier, but looking at all the old photos brings a big smile to my face, so here are some of my favorites, in no particular order.

  1. I am a long time reader of your blog and although I have never reached out to you before I am very sad to hear that Chloe has died. I am a lover of dogs and I know how hard it is to lose the furry member of your family. Go well.

  3. I am so sorry - the death of a pet is always such a hard thing (I had to put Penelope to sleep back in April when her kidney's failed and it just gutted me utterly). I really am so sorry and I know she'll be very dearly missed.

  7. Oh no, I'm so so sorry for your loss! She was such a cute dog and always so cute and happy in pics - she's had a good long life with you, although it's always so painful to say goodbye as the time we have with them never seems long enough. It's good you have these photos to look back on the happy times.

    Rest in peace sweet Chloe!

  12. I was so sorry to see this post pop up in my Bloglovin feed. I know Chloe lived an incredibly long and very happy life, but that doesn't make it any easier to say good-bye. She was such a character - I always loved her total lack of interest in posing for photos - and seeing her pop up in your pictures never failed to rbing a smile to my face. Thinking of you and your family.
