Make you sweat

Things seem to finally be heating up, and this grey sweatshirt dress has come out at least a few times - I love that it's office appropriate, super comfortable, and pretty much a blank slate for whatever accessories I might pair with it.

Nights have still been cool, so a denim jacket makes for a sound addition.

Even as humidity levels and the heat index rises, and I find I have a bit more of a sheen to my skin, you will not hear me complain about being too hot. The winter was far too long and too cold for me to not appreciate every bit of the summer warmpth I can soak in.

I complain about the heat, but that's because I'm a baby, haha. Although so far it's been okay this year. Except when I was in FL, that was DEATH...

  5. I would be more than happy to send a bit of summer heat your way. We haven't had rain here for well over three weeks - they promised some last night, but it never came. We're absolutely sweltering (and pretty much no one here has air conditioning), not to mention the fact that wildfires are burning in nearby rural areas so the air is smoky. I shouldn't complain, but I never thought I'd wish so intensely for it to rain. I digress. This summer outfit is exactly what I wish I could be wearing right now - simple, effortless and comfortable but oh-so-stylish. I just love the way your denim jacket looks tied around your waist!

Childhood obesity has, from being an aberration, become a cause of concern. Nowadays, there is increasing focus on the health of children and teenagers, and the lack of fitness in that particular age group is constantly under a spotlight.

  25. That is a pretty dress! I can see the dressing up and dressing down potential of it.

Glad you are enjoying the warmer weather too! It's so COLD here this winter, and it's going to get crazy cold over the weekend. I miss summer, haha!

  26. Haha, I like your attitude about not complaining! Yeah, the sheen definitely exists for me, too, but I hate when my skin suffers because of sweating/exercising in the humidity. That's about as far as I'll complain, though. You look wonderful in that dress! I love the color/texture of it.
