Still winter

Even though we are finally having our first warm-up this week, sometimes I delude myself into thinking 40° is warm enough to run out of the house without a proper coat. It's really not, unless of course you are wearing a wool sweater, with a down vest and snow boots.

See, no coat!

  1. Haha, I'm crazy and have been going coat-less too often lately! I do love that sweater, such a great print :D

  2. As much as you dislike winter, you have some seriously cute winter ensembles.

  3. Looks cold!! Love the beanie and boots :)

  4. I love that you buttoned up the cardigan and layered it under the vest--they really work well together! I hope your warm-up gets warmer and lasts! :)

  5. It still looks so cold! We're in the 40's here and I'm not wearing a coat either, big sweaters instead. Love your pompom hat!

  11. ugh so over winter but you look fabulous!

  12. This is such a super cute look, I love the fair isle sweater with that vest!

  13. And I saw people out in shorts at that temperature! I agree though, 40 you can get away without a coat as long as you have a sweater! This is a darling look on you!

  14. Love your winter look hun!!!!

  15. Such a cute sweater! Love it! Stay warm!

  16. Haha, I know what you mean- sometimes I get a bit overexcited when it finally starts to warm up! Right now the high for tomorrow is in the low 60s- eek! :D

  17. I love your sweater. You look winter chic!!!

  18. You look so super pretty and I love your smile!

  19. Your vest is so cute...such an adorable layer to add over that fun sweater!

  20. You look cosy, even without a coat! :) It must be nice being able to shed a few layers! I'm excited for autumn and being able to wear a few layers....I kinda missed winter being stuck inside with a newborn baby (best thing ever of course), so will be interesting when it cools enough for me to start layering again.

  21. Okay this is everything. Right now we have spring days ahead of us which I am thankful for but I am still having to use winter layers to stay warm. I love that beanie so much!

  22. Woohoo! No coat! Loving all your other layers though!

  25. Oh wow, this backdrop is superb !
I wish I could have the backdrop without the cold weather.

  26. See? No coat. I love it. Apart from one day, it was actually quite a bit colder in Paris than it has been here and I found myself including a coat in a surprising number of my outfits - if only I had thought to bring along a down vest (or, okay, if only I actually owned one), I could have saved myself from freezing on days when I didn't want to wear a coat!
