Somehow I will make it through this winter

It's Friday! I wish I could say I had some fabulous Valentine's Day plans for tomorrow night, but alas, those are scheduled for Monday night.

That is assuming it does not snow again. We have had snow storms every Monday for the last three weeks. Work and schools have been closed every Monday for the last three weeks. Being snowed in is not my favorite thing; I like my routines and schedules. A snow day once in a while is great, three weeks in a row just gives me anxiety.

Hopefully the relentless winter will not mess up my Valentine's plans!

  1. Hopefully you don't get anymore snow! You look warm and stylish. Have a great weekend.

  2. Snow days three weeks in a row is a bit excessive - and as someone with a full plate at work, I can totally sympathise with how annoying it must make every Tuesday when you get back into the office. Fingers crossed that this week you'll be snow free! But if not, at least you have a wardrobe of adorable warm clothes. And fabulous sneakers. I think I love these sneakers more every time I see you wear them.

  3. Yep, this snow is getting old really fast. Thank goodness for my vacation posts because otherwise I've only taken pictures ONCE since getting back, ha ha...

  4. What a great coat! I'm hoping the snow doesn't ruin your plans too. Also, I like your grey jeans! You're making me think about getting a pair.

  5. OMGosh how lame it is to snow so much! Bring on the spring! We have been super fortunate to have spring temps here for a couple of weeks (I have been in bare legs all week!). I hope you have an amazing time on Monday night!

  6. Hang in there - winter's almost over!!!!

  9. I don't like frequent snow days either; they throw off my groove!

I nominated you for a Very Inspirational Blogger Award :)

  10. I can't even imagine! i would feel so restless. I like to get out and get things done so having my routine interrupted gets to me, too. I love your neutrals and pop of red here!

  11. We are wearing the same shoes today, love this casual look.

  12. Oh goodness, snow storms three Mondays in a row is just unfortunate :( You still look gorgeous though! I hope that your plans won't be postponed again!

  15. You guys have been hit with an insane amount of snow. It's been terribly cold here, but I'd take that over snow any day. What are your V-day plans on Monday?

Hope you're still having a lovely Valetine's Day yourself! xoxo

  16. My family in Boston has been going through the same thing as well, I hear talks that the school system is thinking of canceling Spring Break to make up the many snow days! Hope your V-day plans go through without a hitch!

  17. You're doing an admirable job of keeping chic! I, on the other hand, am sure that I have been wearing the same coat and carrying the same bag for weeks.

We've had so many snowstorms that it's starting to get to me, too. There's so much ice still left on the sidewalks and streets that walking seems treacherous. I hope your Monday plans stay safe from the snow!

  18. Love this outfit, especially that pop of red!

  19. That's crazy that's it's snowed so much for the past three weeks! Love your look here, the navy coat and red bag are gorgeous pieces, even more so together :)

  20. This winter has been brutal! I hope your weekend was better. You look warm and cute!

  21. Confort and stylish! Love all the details.

  22. Hang in there Lydia! You still manage to look great despite the freezing weather. Although snow days do sound good in theory, I'm also a person who needs routine and having that disrupted too often can be frustrating!

  23. Think warm thoughts girl!! At least you look amazing! You have such a fabulous coat collection!
