Slated

I typically hold out a bit longer before breaking out my denim, but after a few chilly nights, these jeans by Max Jeans felt like the perfect choice.

They are incredibly soft and very stretchy, and since I missed out on the grey denim last year, I was very happy to see these in 'limestone grey', which works now while I'm still embracing summer, and will be an equally good base for more autumnal shades when the time comes.

For sizing, I am wearing the four, though according to the size chart I would be an eight, and yes I did hem these about three inches, as I'm only 5'2" and I did not care for how they looked when cuffed.

Finding stylish, yet comfortable denim can be quite a challenge, but this pair gets my approval.

  10. Gorgeous use of the grey denim! I thrifted a pair for myself right after I had Reilly--but in my "old size" as I am bound and determined to get back there someday. Hopefully grey denim won't be "out" by then.

  17. Grey jeans… i like these and had not considered how very easy to style and mix they'd be.
Tell me something, since you were the one that inspired me to get a pair of red jeans. Do you still wear yours ? are they still trending.

  25. And this is why I love being able to read reviews on blog - size charts are a mine field! Even when you know your measurements, it's impossible to be sure where you'll actually fit in. I love gray denim but never think of it as particularly summery; you've definitely proven me wrong with this outfit :)
