Snowfall

I can not remember the last time I took photos out in the snow... probably two years ago when we had that relentlessly snowy winter. Normally I avoid inclement weather photo shoots, but I was already out and dressed really cute, so I decided to go for it.

Aside from the fact that electronics hate the cold just as much as I do, I managed to quickly snap enough decent photos before my camera battery died. Of course it's my fault for forgetting I can't leave it in the cold car...

P.S. I did a guest post about color blocking on the 365Hangers blog!
(and did you remember to enter the giveaway? It's ending this weekend!)

  1. Oooh I just love the all-purple ensemble! The floral mixed in is so pretty! I'm really loving all of your winter pastels as of late - they're springy, but still work right now when grounded by darker colors, like the skirt and bag in this outfit.

  12. I love the color palette you have going on here! The snowy pictures are so pretty. It's still too dark in the morning to get outfit photos before I leave for campus, but maybe in the next few weeks that will change.

I love how you're wearing so many different shades/patterns of purple~ it really brings everything together! Ah, you're too cute. And your hair is really pretty here (even though it's always pretty--maybe it's just the snow that's attached to it, heheh)

  40. I'm totally with you on avoiding inclement weather for photoshoots, but every once in a while, it just works, and this was definitely one of those times - the gently falling snow adds so much beauty to these already lovely photos. I love all of the purple tones in your look. You wear that sweater so well, it makes me wish I had the lilac version instead ofte cream one hanging in my closet :)

Your snow photos look so incredible... like if there wasn't so much snow on the ground I'd be like no, no way. That's fake snow in a studio setting.

    P.S. this outfit is awesome.
