Horse of a different color

Last winter I was all about the wild tights. It seemed like the crazier, the better, and I added so many new pairs to my collection.

Then this year I pretty much go and ignore them all, leaving them stuffed in the bottom drawer where I have to dump them all out just to find what I want - so I've been wearing my plain black pairs over and over again.

So, I'm making a point to bring more of them out again. Brightly colored tights certianly make a big statement.

  3. I love the colourful tights! So much so that I brought about 8 pairs with me to Australia. Silly me, I've only been able to wear 2 pairs in 4 months. Can't wait till it get's colder!

  17. For some reason when I started reading and then scrolled down to see the picture my head "expected " to see yellow tights.... but I love the red.
That is such a pretty look.
I wore tights yesterday and I think they were ruined as when I took them off Marshmallow just ran with them under the bed....

  21. Yay for your horse blouse again! And, I have been a big fan of colored tights since I could remember. I am so glad that they are back and I can relish in their loveliness for now!

  22. Love the whole thing! I'm still a bit shy about brightly colored tights. The riskiest I've gotten is nude fishnets. :)

  25. This outfit is so exciting, those tights are just the cherry on top. I, too, have abandoned my colorful tights a bit (which is a shame since I have a shit ton of them) so this makes me want to include them in like, all my future outfit posts for the rest of winter.

I love that blouse of yours. The pattern is so cute, and those heels are just lovely. Low heels, ahh!

  26. the brighter the better! I think bold tights in the winter are so much more fun than plain ole black ones. Glad to see you breaking out the colored tights :)

  28. I was just looking at my hot pink tights and thinking "when am I actually going to wear these". Maybe I should try to put them together with something for fashion week :) These red tights to definitely make more a statement than black would, and they really make your t-straps stand out!

  39. I literally do the same thing with my tights... they've just become an obstacle! Though I think it's because last year the weather was a bit cooler here, so I haven't really gotten the chance to wear them this year.

Either way, I'll always love a bright pair executed well, like this! I love how horse print and bright tights sound sort of whimsical and childish when you think of them, but this outfit actually looks really chic and ladylike!
