Cold.

Remember when it was warm and taking outfit photos didn't feel like a chore?

This winter I have taken far fewer photos than last winter. I was so good last year, I don't think I missed a single outfit, I was so determined and dedicated.
This winter... well I'm thinking I might start only doing four outfit posts a week.
And that chain bracelet is like wearing ice.
No wonder I caught a cold.

  4. You should just post whenever you feel like it, I feel like when I set myself a limit of posts it just stresses me out. But i love your posts, so as long as they come I'm happy. Hahaha :)

  12. I'm with you - outfit photos in freezing temps is the least fun thing to do. But I'm glad you braved the weather for us - love the ensemble!

  13. this outfit is beautiful! it's been the exact opposite here this winter; it's been warm enough that most days i don't need a coat or a jacket, and can ride with a window down!

  14. Lydia, that's how I got sick too! Last week, spent too much time outdoors (in Toronto - in February!!) without a coat on to take the pics, and I've been sick ever since! And the thing is, I've continued to do it almost every day ever since. :S

    Whatchoogonnado? You look cute!

  15. It's not so much the cold as it is the wind sometimes! Honestly it can get quite brutal. Cold, windy... I don't blame you. I consider so many times not doing my weekly outfit post but then suck up and do it (thankfully haha).

Oh well. You look radiant, at least. I love that necklace and your ice cold chunky chain bracelet. The camel against the black is so nice, too. Keep on braving the winter because it'll be a nice temperature again.. soon!

  23. At the beginning of winter I was definitely gung-ho about taking outfit photos most days, but now that it's been winter for so long, I'm sick of it! I just want to stay inside where it's warm, and drink tea and watch TV shows :)

  28. It's a sharp look and worth contending with over the cold. I thrifted a belt in a similar size link as your bracelet. I'm hoping it won't be cold.

  29. I really like how you did leopard here. I think it is perfectly office appropriate and you look beautiful.

  32. That's exactly why I do one a week. Four would be a stretch for me. Do you have someone take your pictures, or use a tripod? Using a tripod is another issue for me in the cold. It's not like you can just snap the photo and be done with it. All in all, you look great, I love your hair like that.

  34. Well, I hope you're feeling better! I've done fewer outfit photos this year too, but I can't blame the weather--it's been really mild here this year! I love the small pops of color with this pretty, neutral look!

  35. I wasn't following you yet last winter but if you took more pictures than this winter you must have had a lot! I applaud you because you've done far better than me. I am a wimp when it comes to cold weather, hence my lack of blog post and outfit pictures. Hope you're feeling better!

  36. Oh noooo! Hope you're feeling better soon. I really like this outfit. A lot. The camel blazer and the leopard just look really good together, and it's grounded with black (which, of course, is a particular favorite of mine).
