Edge of spring

I think these photos were from the last really cold day we had, and I mean so cold that after five minutes outside I was truly regretting the sandals and had to go back for a heavier jacket. This was very confusing as the day before it was just delightfully warm out.

What resulted was this outfit I think would be better suited for the fall - color pallet wise anyway. I'll have to keep it in mind and replicate it when the temperatures are on the decline again in October.

  2. Okay I just LOVE any chance that I get to see green in an outfit as I feel like it is ALWAYS under-appreciated! Love this girl!

  3. I think the green actually gives this look quite a spring like vibe, but at the same time, I can see the brown jacket and clutch working so perfectly together in a fall look. I hope you're having the best time in California, I'm so excited to see all of your summer outfits when you get back :)

  13. It is amazing how we perceive certain colors for certain seasons!! I wonder if they even sell any olive green in Hawaii, then!
But I have to say, I've been trying very hard to wear my olive green this season too---I just wore it with lilac!

  18. I love the combination of olive green and brown. When it's slightly cooler, I feel like my color palette goes back to darker colors too, even if it's in the middle of summer!
