Autumn sandals

Any day above 65° is sandal weather as far as I'm concerned. I will fight against this Fall thing tooth and nail. The weather has been more or less accommodating to my plight.

It isn't even so much that I dislike boots and closed toe shoes, it's the more the fact that I don't own any comfortable pairs. I must have over a dozen options, with varying degrees of wearability, but none to rival the comfort of the simple leather sandal.

And speaking of shoes, the three pairs I recently bought are all going back on reasons of too long, too narrow, and too stiff - would potentially cause ankle chafing. I'm really disappointed. I was hoping at least one would have worked out! I need to stop online shoe shopping, it rarely ends with me having new shoes.

  1. It's hard finding a great fitting and looking boot. I'm so glad we don't wear them much here. haha Great outfit! Love the color of your jeans.

  2. You should rock your sandals as long as you can. I get all excited about boots at the beginning fall, but then I am wishing for sandal weather by the time winter is over. Heather

  5. I've moved on to closed to shoes...I can't stand cold feet and it's always freezing at work. However, I will try as much as I can to not wear socks until mid winter LOL

  6. I wear sandals even in winter. (Well, sandals with a heel.) I'm all for sandals year round! I live in the South so it doesn't get too cold here. I love your bracelets and watch together. Cute outfit!

  13. online shoe shopping is the worst! Unless they have free shipping both ways, I dont even bother and even then its still a hassle.

  14. 60+ is sandal weather in my book too! You look fabulous - easy breezy, but appropriate for Fall time of year, even it is doesn't actually FEEL like Fall.
My feet hate being enclosed, but I have found the holy grail of ballet flats at J.Crew - spendy but worth it in terms of all day foot comfort!

  16. You look great. If your weather is letting you wear this, I say go for it. I especially love your trench.

I haven't had very good luck shoe shopping online either; I guess I'm just going to have to make a run to Nordstrom Rack.

  19. hahaha, we're totally similar in that respect--we don't want winter to come. I'm glad you're still being able to get some wear out of your sandals. Hopefully it won't get too chilly for you!

Those red pants are fierce, girl. And your purse is so floppy and fab!

  22. I live in tropical weather most of the year so I stick to my sandals. But I'd live in sandals all year in NYC too if I could!

  25. Doing the SAME thing..it is unseasonably warm...so I am not committing to my boots until it goes down a few degrees..
actually wore leather leggings w sandals, which sounds horrible, but somehow worked, lol.
Hope you find some boots to love...I am on a mission for a knee high motorcycle inspired pair...wish me luck!

  26. I don't blame you--keep rocking the sandals! I've been too lazy to paint my toenails, so despite the warm weather my sandals are staying in my closet!
I have a hard time shopping online too. I like being able to try things on before I buy, which is obviously impossible when shopping on line. And dealing with returns is no fun!

  30. Ohh so sad :( But shoe shopping is so difficult. I hardly ever seem to find just the right pair. This is a great restyle of your jacket! I love this bracelet stack, too. I got the same Caravelle watch, but I have to get links removed before I wear it, flops around too much!

  32. Aww that's a bummer about the shoes, especially the sparkle boots (you know how I feel about those...). Love this look though! I've actually been looking around for a unique pinstripe top!
