Pepulm

I've had this ruffled top for quite some time... and it's sort of been in the giveaway pile for a while. But I just couldn't follow through and bring it to the thrift store, no matter how little I wear it. The last time it was on? August, 2010.

But, with this recent resurgence of peplum tops it's practically trendy again.

  3. I've been wondering when I would start seeing peplum in the blogosphere :)

I LOVE the way you've styled this - the pencil skirt balances out the ruffles nicely, and I like the colors together.

  11. I know what you mean, I have a pile of stuff that I SHOULD giveaway but then I'll wear one of those pieces and then worry that I actually should hold on to everything. And then one day I'll be found burried alive under a mountain of clothing that should have been donated!

  14. i like how you kind of made it into the peplum shape with the belt- that's a really crafty idea. i'm the same way with my clothes! i've had pieces hanging in my closet for months that i knew i'd never wear yet i didn't want to give away. it's kind of maddening.

  17. It's a beautiful item and you wore it well.... wear it this season and then get rid of it. If you have not worn it in so long, the odds are you still wont- happens to me all the time. So lately my give away pile IS given away once a month. No regrets so far.

  35. Good thing you saved that shirt! Everything comes back in style eventually. EVENTUALLY.

But really, that is a cute shirt. I love how artistically you tied that belt, and how you brought out the green in your cute cherry shoes with that bag.
