Lyddie vs the five inch leopard wedge

I've been on a quest for a leopard pump for a really long time. Not being able to find any that wouldn't slip off the back of my foot, I decided to focus my energies on finding a leopard sandal.

I ordered three pairs, Por La Victorie Helice platform sandals, Sam Edelman Jorgia wedges, and Sam Edelman Lucia sandals.

Leopard!
Because these brands run narrow, I bought a half size up on all three. The Por La Victories were still too narrow, which was a shame, because I adored the style. The Lucia Edelmans were super sexy, but with a 5" spike heel and only a half inch platform, I knew I would never get much wear out of them.
So I decided to keep the Jorgia Edelmans, the wedge and 11/4" platform made them the most wearable. But they are still really high for me.

Fortunately they were practically free because I had a $100 shopbop gift card and only had to pay $8. But, the price dropped again today, and now they are only $77. (So annoying when that happens!)

And obviously I bought those flat leopard sandals from Target as well, so now I have two pairs of leopard sandals.

  12. Love them on you! I saw some crazy tall leopard print shoes at Target the other day. And I ALMOST bought them. Because you always rock the leopard print so well... I might have to go back for them soonish...

  13. those wedges are pretty rad but man that heel is high. I mean I know its a wedge so its a little easier to walk in but still I know my clumsy self would trip all over myself.

  15. Hooray! I was hoping you'd pick those middle ones as you talked about them. Those are definitely the coolest. They'll kick some butt fersure.

There's something about green and leopard that always looks so nice. Maybe because it's like a leopard in its natural environment, or something. I don't know, but you look fabulous. :D

  21. What a stunning pair of wedges - I'm sure you'll get used to the height, as far as heels are concerned, it's all a matters of practise :) I've been on the hunt for a pair of leopard pumps for a long time, but I really love the sandals you got... I'm thinking maybe I should refocus my search! Love your blouse, too.

  25. Ugh, it's still too much to ask the fashion industry for a shoe that fits. I don't even want to buy shoes any more-- it's too terrible.

How's walking in your new leopards? They're high, but they look really stable.

  28. those leopard wedges are tooooo cool! I wish I could actually go ahead and just buy shoes online. I rarely do because I'm so picky and then if they don't fit, I'm too lazy to send them back. I know, I'm awful :(

  37. For some reason it's never occurred to me that I could just order multiple shoes when I'm having trouble deciding on one. With all the places offering free return shipping now, that seems like the way to go! I love all three of those pairs, but I think the ones you chose look the comfiest.
