Spring is here! (so of course it snowed)

This morning I awoke to a grey sky pouring out a wet mess of slushy snow rain that has yet to stop. A perfect way to start the much anticipated spring season, don't you think?

I very begrudgingly put these boots on. Mentally, I'd moved into sandals season. In fact, I'm more than ready to shove my boots and tights and sweaters all to the back of the closet and bring out the summer clothes. Nothing like a cold, slushy day to bring me back to the reality that the calender's declaration of season means absolutely nothing.

If you haven't heard, this is black and white week, so I invite you all to show off your style with a lack of color. (Let me know if you are participating!)

  3. Those pictures are beautiful Lyddie, nothing beats a SLR camera (or whatever it's called, sorry no camera savvy). I wish we could trade weather, I dislike Spring so much, we're in the 80's today but I would take a snowy day any day. =D

  4. I'm very ready to wear sandals, but I'll have to wait a while before I can wear them without tights or thick socks. That jacket is cute.

  5. Our "spring" is going about the same as yours. No snow, but plenty of rain and nowhere warm enough for sandals.

Gorgeous pics and I love your braid - you look amazing.

  9. I love that bag! I'm on the search for a crossbody this spring, I might actually hit up Goodwill and Salvation Army tomorrow! I really love those boots too but I so know what you mean about being tired of them. I pulled on my flat black motorcycles very reluctantly today, was planning on different ones and I don't have a photo of the change :P

  27. That's really too bad that spring seems to be arriving slowly. I would be antsy, too. You look pretty though, especially with the striped top and the purse!
