Mint + Cobalt

I did follow through and get that hair cut, which I know isn't anything too drastic, but it is nice to have a little shape and movement again.

  3. Oh this is beautiful! I am never bold enough to put two shades like this together and I should because it's a no-brainer and looks stunning on you.

  4. Awe, your hair looks so good! I can see how the haircut helped. And it probably is much easier to brush now, maybe? :)

The way you put together two different kinds of blue is so very nice. I especially like that necklace, Lyddie!

  9. You haircut looks great! I love those first few days after getting a haircut - my head always feels so much lighter, even if I just got a trim.

And any form of blue and green will always be my favorite color combination - this outfit looks so great!

  23. I love your new haircut! As a fellow long-haired girl, I know how tough it can be to even contemplate losing length... I'm actually at that point right now; I know I have an appointment with my hairdresser in about two weeks, and I should probably consider doing something different (and cooler!) for summer, but... I hesitate. Your gorgeous new look has me thinking I could really do it, though :) And I love the cobalt and mint combination. The colours really suit you!

  24. I think your hair looks great--it's not a drastic change you're right, but it looks so shiny and healthy! I thought I was going to have the patience to grow mine long, but I'm already itching to cut it all off again!

  30. What a great summery outfit...you should be at Cape Cod or Martha's Vineyard in that outfit! In the first picture it looks as if you really cut it short, but then as I looked at the rest of the pictures, it seems that you still kept some length on your hair. It really looks nice!

  31. I think the accessory I'd like to most try is the terrific big statement necklace like yours. I can't pull them off, so I have to live vicariously through other style bloggers. I love this easy, elegant look you've created, around shorts no less! Hmmm, maybe shorts are my final frontier...lol.

I like the cut, and it must be a little easier to manage in the intense humidity of the summer.
