Camel + Red

Being the mayor of anything on Foursquare means nothing.
Truly. Nothing.
It's not even worth it for bragging rights, because let me tell you - you will just get made fun of if you brag about being a Foursquare mayor.

Yet, I was outraged when I got an email today saying that I had been ousted as the mayor of TJ Maxx. Yes, it is immensely important to me that I be the fictional mayor of TJ Maxx. NO ONE can shop there more than me.  Now I have to check in two more times and reclaim my title, so I can resume being the Foursquare mayor of my TJ Maxx. (And for the record, the boots, the bag, and the belt are all TJX finds.)

  1. You must have an awesome TJ Maxx near you, because whenever I go to my TJ Maxx it just looks horribly picked over and is full of unflattering things like cropped tops and velour sweatpants. Maybe I'm going there on the wrong days.

  3. Haha gotta love TJ Maxx! You always have such amazing finds! Perhaps I'll go there this weekend...I need to find a Christmas present for my mom and brother...
My phone is from the stone age so I can't use foursquare, hahaha.....I should really buy an iPhone, but I'm cheap and I'd rather buy shoes with that money ;)

  6. Whatttt you still have leaves? Don't even talk to me. I've been wanting to do this exact outfit formulation for the longest time-- neutral top + bold bottom. Except I don't have any neutral tops, so...

I wish I had a good T.J. Maxx, mine isn't. But at least Marshalls is. It'd be nicer if both were good though.

Wait, do you have triple leopard going on right now? Awesome.

  7. Your pictures are sooo beautiful. I am going to purchase a tripod this weekend and start experimenting with posting pictures on my blog. You take outrageous outdoor pics. Do you have any advice for taking indoor pics? Or is that too broad a question? Do you need photoshop, Gimp, Piknik, I was even told to check out the Walmart site....I have no clue what I am doing. I need a basic photo class that does not start until Spring.

  13. LOL - I didn't realize foursquare had mayors! I used to love to go to TJs, Ross, Marshalls, etc, but now I just don't have the time or patience for it. Sometimes I will pop in to look at the shoes, but usually all that stuff just annoys me for some reason.

I love your color combination here.

  19. TJ Maxx in my area doesn't have very good stuff, so I am a little jealous of people who live near better stores.

  20. This is funny.
I WAS the mayor for my apartment building, my office, the salon I go to.... and then I realized that it meant nothing so I just quit. Now that I think of it I MIGHT still be the mayor at the salon but I just deleted the app from my phone.
Go CLAIM that mayorship - do it in the name of all of us overthrown mayors !
BTW I really like this combo :)
