New York in December

Grand Central

New York. Such a great city to visit. Come into Grand Central, which is remarkable in and of itself. I've been there so many times but this is the first proper photo I've ever taken of it.

NYC

We set out towards Rockefeller Center to see the tree, and do a little window shopping.

Radio City

The Christmas Show at Radio City Music Hall was quite impressive. The Rockettes were amazing as you'd imagine, and just the production on the whole -- everything from a stage that could move in every possible way imaginable (up, down, revolving), to an actual ice skating rink, fireworks, and live camel and sheep. It was just so over the top. Or maybe I just haven't seen a New York production in a long time (I think the last time was Wicked in 2004).
Even though I was in the absolute farthest seat possible from the stage, that didn't detract from the awe. I only wish it was longer than an hour and a half. I suppose they keep it short since they do so many performances each day, and the target audience is under 10 years old. Haha.

Inside Anthro

Of course I went to Anthropologie... the New York City location is by far my favorite...

Window elephant

And took in the holiday window displays...

Cycling Santas

And spotted some cycling Santas!

Christmas Star

Definitely my favorite photo of the day, I love the New York Christmas Tree!

P.S. Check out my Feature at Walk of Fashion!

What lovely photos! My favorite would be the window with the elephant. It's been years since I've been to Manhattan.

It is really crazy in the city around this time of year! I haven't been to the City around Christmastime in a long time but I had been there a few times in a row. insane. I live 20 minutes outside of the city in N. NJ where it is less stuffy!

You looked like you had so much fun! I'm envious you got to see the Christmas Show! And the picture of the Rockefeller tree is breathtaking.

I love your red purse (eye candy!) and that fun fur collar. I just finally invested in a fur collar from Madewell this weekend...can't wait to pair with a winter coat like you did :)

You look so warm and snuggly. I would so love to visit New York ... I need to plan a 3 month vacation to the states and work my way from east to west and north to south ... so much I want to see and so many places I want to visit and so many people I want to meet in person but I'm sure I'd still need to return after that for more :-)
