End of August

It's funny, these photos were taken at the end of May and I'm only just now posting them. I've been blogging so little these past few months because I rarely feel as though I have anything to say. I could discuss my OCD shopping habits, though I suspect you would be bored. This space has always been about fashion and my life, but very little life has been occurring.

And so, three months later, I'm sharing this leopard trapeze dress from Target I bought because I wanted something comfortable to hang around the house in (it is), what I wore to pick up an online grocery order at Shoprite (minus my mask), and the illusion that perhaps I spent more time at the beach that day than it took to snap these photos (I did not).

  1. That is such a fun dress and it looks so cute with the denim jacket! I hope you do get to spend time at the beach on another day - it's wonderfully relaxing and it's nice to take advantage of time outdoors! I've found a local hike I can do even with my sore knee as it's a really short stroll and the kids and I frequently go there just to get out and enjoy the sunshine. It's a beautiful spot and has the benefit of being hidden away so that it's never busy!

Hope you are having a lovely weekend :)

  2. I love a good leopard print! And at least you're doing better with blogging than I am. Not sure when I'll get out for photos next, unless I can convince Christian to take some before or after the grocery store tomorrow....

  3. That's a really cute dress - I'm basically living for house dresses these days and have added several to my collection over the past month. Honestly, I've got very little else on the go these days aside from wrapping up work, tossing on a house dress, and taking a nap.

  4. Girl I FEEL you! I typically plan my posts out for weeks and then suddenly it's like 2021 and I'm realizing I never posted those 2019 photos. BUT I'm glad you did post these, they are lovely AND that dress looks so comfortable!

  5. I completely know how you feel. Writing has been so hard and I feel so scatterbrained I can barely edit DSLR photos. These are lovely photos though I'm glad you got a chance to post them!

  6. I always envy your proximity to the beach (if not the actual ocean, which terrifies me.) I miss living in Vancouver, in that respect - going to the beach wasn't an event, it was something you could just do on an afternoon after work for an hour if you felt so inclined. Even just to take photos, because it's there, so why not. Also, as someone who hasn't been organized enough to post current photos for years (and years and years), I am right there with you on this. Time just moves so quickly (or maybe I'm just disorganized and slow, but I'm still going to blame time.)

AND IF I DID nothing would fit. These months in quarantne have not been good to me.
