I enjoy life's small wonders.

This weekend I had a chance to visit the Yale Botanical Gardens, which prior to this weekend, I didn't even know existed. It was nice to wander around the 76° greenhouses, see all the gorgeous tropical plants and breath in that clean air.

  4. How lovely to get a taste of spring in the middle of winter! Despite the sometimes tropical heat, I love to visit botanical gardens - there are so many strange plants in the world that you can really only see in a botanical garden. If you ever have a chance, the New York Botanical Garden is an amazing place to visit - although I must say, the Yale Botanical Garden looks pretty fabulous in these photos, too.

  8. How beautiful! It'd be a great idea to go to a botanical garden in the middle of winter when it's gloomy to help fake warmer weather for a few hours! Love that pretty leopard print blouse!

  14. It looks like a beautiful place!! That cardigan looks like such a great piece--I feel like I'm always on the hunt for a cardigan that's a little slouchy but not too oversized, and thin enough to layer but not see through. That looks like a winner!
