    My mom's best advice to me would probably be to just do whatever feels right to you. It's very vague, but it applies to so many things and she says it a lot. :)

    "Wait until you have kids.." LOL

    no really, she always told me "Do what makes you happy"... and she's taught me how to be a strong person through tough and difficult times...I love my Mama!

    The only advice I can remember my mother giving me was when I was going on my firs date: " make sure you always have a dime with you in case you need to make a phone call" Ha,ha, guess that really dates me!
