Anchor Belt

Quite often the things that I wear and the things that I buy are a direct result of things I have seen other bloggers buying and wearing, because honestly, if it weren't for them, I'd never have known such things even existed.

This anchor belt is due to having seen the lovely Ali wearing one. It was a month long quest, that finally ended when this one from ASOS came back in stock; but it's not quite as cute as Ail's, perhaps because it's actually from the mens department.

But I'm happy because it was $20, made in England - not China, and fills the anchor belt void - which clearly needed to be filled before it was too late.

I wouldn't want a repeat of last year, how I'm still wishing I'd gotten that Elizabeth and James Anchor ring.

  5. I LOVE this belt - it looks fabulous with this outfit, and I can see it looking great with a sundress too.

I'll admit to being inspired by bloggers, too - although I don't have a blog myself, almost all of my pins on Pinterest involve outfits I've seen on my favorite OOTD bloggers!

  8. D'awww!~ I'm glad that you were able to find your anchor belt--it's so very cute! :D Especially for a men's department find (Heck, I would have never guessed it was from there). This just means that now whenever you style something with your anchor belt, I can steal all of your outfits. Or try to. Muwa ha ha.

Diabolic planning aside, this is such a perfect nautical outfit. I especially adore those teeny-tiny gold anchor earrings! You put so much attention into details. :')

  14. Anchor earrings and an anchor belt?! So fun! I love the nautical jewelry you wear all the time.

And I try not to think about how many things I've purchased because I've seen them on a blog. I'd guess that it's about half my closet :)
