Orange Crush

After so many days of rain, it doesn't take much to get people to the beach, in swimsuits, in the water. I'm certianly not one to go diving in while the air outside is just passing 60°, but there didn't seem to be a shortage of them at the beach.

Of course I appreciate the warm, sunny weather as much as I can, but do it a safe distance from the water and remain fully clothed.

This skirt is courtesy of Sheinside; when asked to choose something from their numerous offerings, I had to go with the super bright orange maxi skirt. This one doesn't quite hit the ground on me, so flat sandals are a must. The light chiffon layers do catch the breeze quite nicely. I can easily see this becoming a summer staple.

Sheinside offers free shipping, though the products are coming from overseas, so shipping did take over a week. Also, a signature was required for delivery, so I had to wait until Saturday when I could go to the post office and sign for it.

You made a great choice Lydia! I LOVE the orange and chiffon of this maxi and it looks to have all of the criteria of a maxi that you were looking for! You look absolutely terrific in this and I love the pop of leopard too!

Dang girly! You look beautiful! I love that pretty new skirt.

I for one am with you on staying out of the water! We've been in the 90s here in Phoenix and I still won't go in my pool. Not until the water feels more like a bath and it's over 100 ;)

Pretty! I love the slightly sheer bottom. I have to do loose with a maxi sometime, been thinking about it for ages. If only the weather would perk up a bit... hopefully Thursday!

P.S. I love the stacks of bracelets you're wearing lately. I have got to do more with bracelets.

Oooh what a fun skirt! I'd be the one rocking something like this instead of a bathing suit too :)

You are a serious jewelry hound, girl! I always love your choices and how you pull them all together, especially the chunky bracelets. Sometimes lots of bracelets (or arm candy...) bugs me at work and I have to take them off. I sure do love them, though......

I am in love with the color of that skirt! It's so incredibly pretty and looks fantastic on you! I'm also digging the leopard scarf... I've had a hard time incorporating mine into my summer wardrobe so this is great inspiration! :)
