Horse and Stone

I don't wear hats to the office. (I would definitely get made fun of.) But I threw the fedora on before the outfit photos, and I have to say, it totally makes the look for me.

I might not necessarily recommend climbing on rocks in heels, but they do make a nice backdrop and you know how I'm always striving to look like I belong in a J.Crew catalog...

It definitely feels more like summer now, complete with tons of mosquitoes at the beach in the evening. I was eaten alive! Time to start keeping some repellent in the car.

The hat definitely makes the outfit! I bought myself a fedora yesterday and I'm returning it. I look ridiculous. I really wanted to like it on me!

You are totally right about the fedora making the outfit. And I hope you know by now that I am a huge fan of this horse print blouse. You are lucky you were not hurt (or your camera!!!) climbing these rocks, but the photos are so pretty it seems to have been worth it!

Gorgeous outfit. I always love that horse-print blouse and you always style it so wonderfully.

And you in that hat? Gorgeous!

I fully support your decision to stick on a hat just for photos. I do that often :)

The light in these photos is amazing. So is the backdrop. Can I borrow your outfit photo location?!

You totally do below in a J. Crew catalog, though. Why haven't they found your blog and called you up yet? Those dweebs.

Anyway.

Props for climbing on rocks with heels. That skirt and shirt is so unexpected, but I really like it. You should wear that skirt a ton more, 'cause I have one pretty similar to it, and then I could steal all your fabulous outfits that much easier. I mean borrow. I mean flatter.

This is one of my very favorites of your outfits, between the fedora, the (horse!) print blouse and that fantastic bag, this works so well and look so creative and different! (and what fantastic photos!)
