This cardigan seemed like a good candidate, since it's a size too big for me, however I might need to try it with a thinner knit, as this felt pretty bulky.
(Excuse the sever wrinkles in my skirt, you know I hate ironing. I totally wore it out of the house like that. Lets pretend it's supposed to have that crinkled look.)

You inspired me to try the knotted shirt look too over the summer. I wore a knotted blouse over a dress once which was so outside my normal comfort zone!
That's a great way to wear a cardi - will be trying it soon!
This is a great idea! I am definitely going to try this...especially since so many of my cardis tend to bag at the waist.
I like the knotted cardigan! What a great trick and the skirt looks great-wrinkly or not.
Love the mix of colors! :)

This colour combo is so unusual but it looks really good! I need to buy a few items that can be knotted, it looks great and not bulky at all! Have a great weekend! :-)
I like you with skirts so much, and what a brilliant idea to knot a cardigan, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I must try!!!

What an unusual cardigan - perfect with the skirt.
I actually didn't notice the wrinkles in the skirt till I read your post! :P love the colours of the cardi and skirt together :)
The knotted cardigan is a good idea. I never iron anything. It is terrible, but I don't like ironing.
I totally thought the skirt was meant to have that crinkled look - you could easily have fooled me! And I love the knotted cardigan idea.

I like this whole look, and the printed snakeskin on the cardigan is done so well. I love that colour on you. -xo
I thought that the crinkle look was just how the skirt was supposed to look. Ironed or not it looks very cute on you.
Hey, your skirt looks great like that! Ironing is a pain in the butt, anyway.
I love that snakeskin cardigan, this is a great look on you!
very cute and i love the knot. i just got the "big spender" color today from target :-)

There's just something about shortening the cardi that makes the outfit work. Also the two colors together work well together.
Really nice look, love the colour combination!
Great and well done ideas i find here.

The skirt actually totally looks like it's supposed to be that way. No need to ever iron it :) I don't remember seeing this cardigan before, but I like it and I like the knot!

very pretty... and the skirt looks ironed to me...
That is one snazzy cardigan! I've knotted shirts and button-downs, but not cardigans; I should give it a try! :)
star-crossed smile
What an awesome color combo!
PS. I'm definitely stealing the tied-cardigan idea. Genius!

As a fellow knot-enthusiast, I'm definitely going to have to start knotting my cardigans too! And it totally looks like the skirt is supposed to be that way :)

Good idea- I have a cardigan that looks weird, and I bet I could try knotting it. And I love that nail color! -J
The knotted look is so cute with a cardigan! I would have never thought of it! I think the skirt looks totally fine. I've definitely been known to walk out the house in clothing far more wrinkly than that!
:)

Ha ha, I often pretend that my clothes are supposed to have that crinkled look- it's not that I hate ironing, it's just that I never, ever do it :) I think your skirt is gorgeous, and the knotted cardigan looks beautiful, even if it didn't feel as comfortable as you'd hoped. I'm going to have to try knotting a cardigan now, I'm really intrigued by the possibility :)
xox,
Cee
The green and navy look perfect together!
Haha glad to know there are other iron haters like me who proudly strut around in wrinkly skirts! You look beautiful-I love the colour combination and you have perfected the knotted top!
What a great idea with the knotted cardigan. The colors you've mixed here look fab together. Great skirt!
