I couldn't make a decision on a JC Splendid alternative, but I had a shoe thirst to quench and I impulsively bought these cuties by Hive and Honey via Piperlime, where they are on sale for $30.
Do you ever look at your outfit thumbnails and try to determine which pieces you haven't worn in a while?
Well it was determined that I haven't worn this denim skirt since March and I haven't worn this floral top since April (and has only been worn once!) April for the grey top, and well, lets just say I don't even have a photo of the earrings! Which I actually kind of forgot how much I loved. I got them in the Artists Alley at Otakon, an anime convention in Baltimore, that I haven't been to in years. It's July 30th this year, and I sort of wish I were going.
I know I have a shoe problem. But really, it's perfectly reasonable. A few years ago, I didn't like wearing heels very often. I adored ballet flats. It was my goal to acquire as many pairs as possible, and I was very good at it. But now I find I'd rather wear a shoe with a heel, and have been working hard to flesh out that section of my collection.
Meanwhile, the flats sit, neglected. Flat style challenge week, perhaps?

If you were wondering, yes, the new iPhone is freaking awesome. I couldn't love it more, and it's so zippy! Compared to the first gen phone this one is blowing me away. I'm sure any 3GS users aren't going to share in my marvel, but I'm so glad I finally upgraded.
