The Smell of Warm Summer Air

I woke up to a morning not laced with a chill for the first time in what seems like ages. Not that I want summer to rush, I just want spring for a bit. That lovely balance where bare legs and a light jacket work.

I heard on the NPR the other day that Radiohead did a 20th anniversary release of OK Computer, an album I've loved for all of those years (okay, probably 18 of them, which still makes me feel old) and thanks to a slightly clearer image of the blurry intersection featured on the cover some dedicated fans discovered it was actually I-91 and I-84 in Hartford. Which I thought was pretty awesome, to think that Connecticut is there, on that album I love so much. Just wish they would still play Connecticut when they toured these days!

  4. While I've never really been a Radiohead fan, I know that album well and I have to say that it's pretty amazing that someone actually sat down to figure out where that place was on the cover of it. And to think it's so near you, too! Life is funny sometimes. And I hear you about spring, we're in full on summer mode visiting Prague right now and I have none of the right clothes because it should still be spring but, well, it doesn't always work that way.

  8. I couldn't agree more about that delicate balance between Spring and Summer. Here, it gets so uncomfortably hot that Spring really is the perfect time of year. I don't want it to end. And that's so cool about Radiohead! Can we bring back 90's music please? That would be great :)

  9. We have a few warmer days this week and I am soaking it up! Spring weather can be so fickle you just never know. Love the leopard shoes with olive and black for spring! I don't always think to pull out my leopard shoes for spring for some reason, but they look fabulous!

  10. I am so excited because sun is in the forecast for the next week! Hearing bands that I listened to as a young teen now having reunions definitely makes me feel old!
