Spring shades

The lavender sweater has been long overdue to make an appearance. I decided to embrace a lighter color pallet with the jeans and mint tote as well.

Kind of funny: If you look closely at my bracelet in the first photo you will see it is completely intact, however, if you look at it in the detail shot, you can see one of the large rhinestones is missing.

I did not notice the missing rhinestone until I arrived home. I assumed it was gone for good, but when I started editing these photos I noticed its presence in some of the frames.

I didn't recall hearing anything fall to the ground while I was taking my photos, so I dumped out my tote and sure enough, there was the missing stone. I glued it back on; we shall see how long it holds.

  5. Thank goodness you found it! I lost a stone in one of my most precious rings one time, found it and didn't realize it (kinda weird story) and realized I had found it years later. It was such a relief!

I love this purple on you!

  14. This is so pretty! I have a similar color top that I will have to pair with mint now. Glad you were able to rescue your bracelet. It's lovely and would be a shame if the rhinestone was lost!

  21. The sweater is beautiful - i don't like it when items have too much stones because i alway fear that i will bump into something and they will fall… glad you found it.

  25. I love that lavender sweater! :) Glad that you´ve found the missing rhinestone, that´s why it´s really hard for me to buy a bracelet/cuff with stones because I tend to be careless with them. ;)

  27. A lavender sweater could never look good on me as it does on you. What a lovely shade to welcome the beauty of spring.

I hadn't noticed the missing gem even in the detail shot until you pointed it out. I guess it is the part with 2 dots? It is really fortunate that it dropped into your bag and that you managed to glue them back on. I hope thay stay put!

BTW, I'm holding my 2nd blog giveaway. There are Kimmidoll, L'Occitane, Crabtree n Evelyn and Fleurfaerie stuff to be won. Feel free to check it out and participate if keen. Have a lovely Sunday!

  32. ahaha, that's kind of perfect that you were able to solve your way to finding the stone through use of your outfit pictures--good thing, right? I left my lens cap at a location once and figured out the same thing by seeing it in an image I took. Ah, the wonder of photos!

I adore that lilac sweater of yours. And that bracelet is so sparkly and fantastic!

  35. Awful but completely practical and useful tip of sticking rhinestones back onto jewelry - chewing gum. It's disgusting, but it completely works. If the glue doesn't hold, give it a try :)

On a style-related note, I couldn't help but smile at this post - not only do I have this sweater in cream, but I also have that LC for Kohls necklace. Great minds!
