In the bag

Slowly but surely, the first signs of spring are starting to show up. I tend to favor darker, neutral bags in the winter, but it's finally time to start pulling out the brights. If you are in need of a bright bag update, the new-to-me brand Nicole Lee, is certain to have something. Their spring line is bursting with color, print, and embellishment. Their bags are anything but neutral!

Ever since Pantone announced the color of the year, I've been obsessed with adding more emerald, and more green in general to my closet, so this bag was just what I wanted. Not to mention my double green look is very appropriate for the upcoming holiday.

This satchel comes in three different sizes, and this is the mid size. It's big enough to stow my hefty DSLR with room to spare, two outer pouches for things you need quickly (i.e. iPhone) and it has the most beautiful lining (which is always something I consider to be very important).

Nicole Lee is offering 15% off for Chic on the Cheap readers, just use code LYDDIEGAL15 (valid through 3/25)

And this is a funy thing I like about your winter outfits- you dont rely on black tights. Love these brown ones with the green dress. Not too mint but minty enough ^_^

  7. Such cute hair (but isn't it always?)

and emerald is such a lovely color on you! I have yet to add any to my wardrobe, but that doesn't mean I can't stare at how pretty yours is! I adore the orange against it, too--such a nice pop!

  13. Pretty pretty! I love that this bag holds all your stuff (and even a camera?!) but doesn't look like a huge suitcase bag. Love that you can wear it over your shoulder without it being too bulky!
