Night before christmas

Christmas Eve is traditionally a bigger celebration in my family than Christmas day. We have a huge Italian dinner with several kinds of seafood, on top of endless antipasto and appetizers. Then there is dessert.

My search for a tasty holiday punch was successful - I modified a recipie I found on Pinterest to the following:
One Bottle of Sparkling Rosé Wine
One Bottle of Cranberry Juice
One Liter Bottle of Lemon Lime Soda
Juice of 1 Lime
Frozen Cranberries and Starfruit to Garnish

It was a rave - and I didn't even get a proper photo of how pretty it looked - but there is at least this instagram.

  9. It's always so fun when big families get together! How wonderful that you got to all get together and have such a nice Christmas.
This dress is just gorgeous, I really love the texture, it almost looks quilted with raised squares, it's so pretty! (The texture looks really cool with the sequins.)

  10. Your outfit is really lovely. It's a very beautiful, festive holiday look. I have a pair of polka dot tights like yours and I love them.

Christmas Eve has always been the biggest celebration in my family too; Christmas day is a laid back, stay in our pajamas kind of day.

Hope your holidays were wonderful. :)

  17. A big Italian dinner sounds so perfect! And you look so stunning, Lyddie! I adore that blazer and the quilted dress. I like how everything underneath is black. You look so classy (but don't you always?).

I hope that your Christmas dinner was super lovely! And also that your New Years' will be great as well. :D

&& also, thankfully, the storm was not awful at all! There was one tornado way way way south in the state, and we just got an hour of nasty wind. Yay! :) Thank you for the kind words, Lyddie <3
