Almost feeling French

The last time I wore this dress, one of my coworkers told me I should have been wearing a beret with it so that I would look Parisian. So just for her, the beret.

This popcorn beret was something I'd seen at ModCloth, and really loved and wanted, but not badly enough to pay $26 + shipping for. Just when I had resigned to coveting from afar, the exact beret was spotted on the clearance table of a shop in my town. I can't remember if it was $10 or $15 - only that it was far less than at ModCloth.

This scarf was a birthday gift last year, and I must confess, this is my first time wearing it. I can't say why it's taken me so long. I actually quite like how the sheer element offers some unique layering effects.

Chloe is a Bichon Frise, so she is a French dog.
Outfit photos aren't her favorite though; this is her favorite:

But that is everyone's favorite, isn't it?

By now you probably know I a a fan of Chloe... now you are going to kill me but I though she was a french poodle... mine are Maltese- family of the bichon, only that mine are overfed.

  30. I really like the sheer scarf :) I'm always envious of people who can wear berets, they look enormously bad on me because I can never get them to stay on. Chloe is so cute! I try to get my cousin's dog to pose with me but he never goes for it either.
