X marks the spot

This outfit was inspired by Meg, so it's only fitting that she happened to be my photographer. I love how she paired her tulip skirt with a cozy cardigan, so when this fluffy cardi arrived from Dorothy Perkins, I knew just how I wanted to style it.

Dorothy Perkins is a UK based high-street store which only recently launched a US version of their site. They have an impressive inventory, and a great sale section; which I'm not embarrassed to say I looked at first, and will certainly be looking at again.

I really like the tribal motif on this one, and it did keep me nice and warm on the windy beach.

Wow, can I just say that I love this color scheme? (This is so something I would wear!) I love really soft, muted colors tones like these and there the bonus of your outfit matching the weather!

I have purchased about 5 fit and flare dresses from Dorothy Perkins. They were about $30 each and are very flattering and versatile. I love that site.

What a great looking cardigan. Definitely haven't seen anything like it around..I think. It has a vintage feel to it. I love how you paired it with a simple blouse and pencil skirt - it really shows off the cardigan. Great photos!

The pic of you running down the beach is my all-time fave, although as a woman I can appreciate that cannot have been easy in those shoes :)

Oooh, that really is such a neat cardigan, Lyddie! It reminds me of a painting that would be in a modern art museum. :) I like how it just looks kind of painted on. And such a cool texture it is, too!

I totally love this winter mint and location! I was kind of baffled by how much seafoam and mint I continue to see through the retail winter months and have been wondering how everyone is wearing it.

I'm still a little baffled by the pastel blue handbags though. Not gonna lie.
