I have a suspicion I've used this post title before, but oh well, it works too perfectly.
Now, I don't like to get too patriotic with my looks, but after seeing Nnenna's pink with stripes, it seemed like the perfect substitute while still feeling festive.
Starfish cuff is a given these days, along with a knotted top... is my style getting stale? Haha, you'd think I was doing the 30 for 30 or something!

Not only do you look gorgeous but you just solved a lingering fashion dilemma for me. I'm a skirt lover and I like pairing my skirts with loose tops but it means extra fabric bundled beneath and a lot of creative ways of trying to smooth that down. But a knot? Simply genius. I am so gonna rock that look this weekend!

I find it very refreshing and comfortable to tie my tops when I do not know what else to do with them ! :)
I hope you sewed those pearls back on with some type of plastic or nylon threading or I think you will be spending another 40 minutes sewing pearls in the near future...

Definitely not stale at all--I think the starfish and the stripes look perfectly fresh! (And as for the knots, I might be biased since I seem to have a wee obsession with knotting stuff too.)

I love the starfish cuff, keep on wearing it! I never thought to do pink instead of red. Maybe I'll do that next year.
Ugh I hate it when the washing machine ruins things... I wreck half my clothing in it even when I follow the care instructions on the tag.
