Coconut dip

Coconut dip on chocolate frozen custard. That's my favorite. Going out to get ice cream after dinner in the summer is pretty awesome too.

Today I brought my broken bracelet to work and asked one of my co-workers to glue it for me, and fingers crossed it holds. Also cross your fingers that these sunglasses fell out of my purse in the car and not in the parking lot of the ice cream place. I'll have to check the car again when it's light out, and just to be safe I called the ice cream place and gave them my number.
This why I only spend $7 on sunglasses, but still I'd hate to lose these, because they are so fun, and just so me.
*update: I didn't want to wait for the am, so I got a flashlight and hunted under the seats of the car and found the sunnies!

  3. Thought of you today while out thrifting. Purchased a scalloped neckline, silk silk blouse for $2, and it's a beautiful off white color, just like your shorts. When I wear/post it, I will refer to you and include your link. Thanks for all the inspiration! kris

  4. What a cute outfit! I used to buy the Under $10 shades too...but I finally invested in my Chanels...4 years later, they're still in perfect condition! Go for it...if u spend more I think you'll be inclined to take better care of it!

  6. Yay more color. And I'm glad you found your sunnies. I likey them. A lot. And I also like your shirt. And heels. Could you imagine what a kick ass wardrobe we'd all have if like, ten bloggers got together and just shared one big closet? Pretty kick ass, I say.

And yum @ that ice cream cone. I CAN TASTE IT. I'd even do without the coconut and just take the ice cream.

  7. That ice cream looks so yummy. Three things I love about your post today:
    1. The tractor as a background
    2. How your sunglasses, bracelets, and nails all match in color.
    3. The edit about you finding your lovely sunglasses.

  8. Just read Ashley's comment and thought what a fab idea! It would be the closet to beat all closet's even perhaps Olivia Palermo's? But I bet OP's wardrobe doesn't have a knock out pair of sunnies like yours or for that matter a starfish cuff!

  34. I really hope they are in the car!
I know I am well over 50, but I will always remember ice cream on summer nights from a young child on up...as a child we went to Dairy Queen a lot during the summer. I really like the checked topper with your yellow...cute touch!

  35. Coconut and chocolate, just like ice cream and summer, is an excellent combination. (As is this blue and white plaid with the bright yellow!) Just catching up on your posts -- have been away for days without internet access. (Love the sunset pics of the boats and water below! Gorgeous. I find it hard to get sunsets just right. Tricky, tricky lighting -- and I'm not so good at manual focusing, which the nighttime seems to require)

  36. Ahhh your EBEW is so cute! I'm not doing it this time, couldn't come up with anything new to do with my yellow. I hope you find your sunglasses because I love them and how they always match your nails and sometimes jewelry too.

  40. That ice cream sounds great. Used to be a summer tradition to go out driving and have ice cream but I haven't done that in a while.

I love the yellow and gingham combo! and congrats on finding your shades :).

  41. The yellow with the blue gingham is so cheerful, I love it! I'm glad you found your sunnies. I always buy 'em cheap too because I tend to lose/break them. Oh, and by the way good luck with the car shopping. I was totally teasing in my comment, but that is too funny that you really are car shopping :)

  42. Oh dear, your treat looks delicious and makes me want to jump in my car and go get some of my own ... it's 10pm though so I may just have to wait for tomorrow.
In other news, I love how you paired the navy gingham with the yellow - so classic.

  45. Holy crap, YUM! The ice cream, not you. I am not a perverted man posing as a sixteen-year-old girl. Then again, that's just what a pervert would say, but you'll just have to take my word for it. You do look great though! I am so glad you find your glasses, because they are adorable!
