Upstager

Today is my little sister's birthday. Because she's eight years younger than I, when she gets older, it makes me feel ancient.
She accused me of trying to upstage her outfit-wise, but we all know that this is how I dress everyday.

Upstager
The weather was almost something resembling warm, about 46°. I wasn't quite ready to forgo tights however, so I chose a nude fishnet, that I now maybe regret. And I broke out the Seychelles, because I was very anxious to, and most of the snow is gone now.
Upstager
I hadn't worn this sequined top since Christmas, so clearly I need to work harder at incorporating sequins into daily wear. (But then what will I wear on special occasions? I don't know.)
Seychelles gypsy
I do love the color of these! Can't wait for summer and no tights.

Happy Birthday Anna Chocolate Mayonnaise Cake
We had the best chocolate cake ever (you can find the recipe here), and yes, doesn't the Christmas tree make such nice bokeh? Why would anyone ever want to take that down...

...and if anyone is interested...
I've listed a couple pairs of shoes on ebay, because I'd like to have room for my new shoes...click the photos to check out the listings. They are both size eight.

Just because it's your sister's birthday doesn't mean you can't look good. Afterall, it's not her wedding. ;)

Oh, I love those shoes. I can't wait to wear mine, but it has been pouring rain here in Oregon and I don't want to ruin them.

You're looking smashing in that skirt, btw. It's perfect on you.

I don't think the tights were a mistake, I quite like them! And you can't go wrong with red shoes :)

Ugh, this time of year just draaaags on, its teasing us with almost being warm, but really, it's not quite there yet...hurry up spring!!

I was wrong. THIS is your best outfit yet! And my sister is 8 years older than me, and I never knew that she might feel older each year I have a birthday - which is every year...

Are you participating in Sheila from Ephemera's leopard week? Or is that just a really great coincidence?

This post has me craving chocolate cake and wishing I wore a size 8. Sigh on both counts.
