Love like a sunset

What I want most right now is to be watching a tropical sunset, but since it isn't getting any warmer in New England, my outfit today is inspired by the colors which fill the sky as the sun goes down.

Love like a sunset
Brilliant oranges deepening into purples and finally fading to darkness.
Love like a sunset
This is the newest addition to my growing collection of knit pencil skirts. I got it from Talbots at 75% off. I love the idea of bright pencil skirt and I'm sure you will be seeing this quite a lot in the future.
Love like a sunset
Normally I only wear my shell jewelry in the summer, but since this is a summer inspired look, the shell made it in.

That's a great skirt - and it sounds like you got a great deal on it! I am getting so sick of the cold here, the wind kicked up again this evening and I damn near froze walking home from campus.

I really like the interpretation you gave your outfit in comparing it with the sunset...
That skirt is perfect, just last night as I was browsing through my closet I realized I DO NOT HAVE any colorful skirts..... just black, white and some printed ones.

Nice! I like your sunset inspiration. This look reminds of DVF's bold spring colors.

Good observation on the MIA shoes. I was also eyeing the steve madden version of those wedges.. they're only $20 more than the mias (which is still a good bargain) and look almost exactly like the DVFs. Waiting for a sale!! :)
