Almost feeling French

The last time I wore this dress, one of my coworkers told me I should have been wearing a beret with it so that I would look Parisian. So just for her, the beret.
Almost feeling French
This popcorn beret was something I'd seen at ModCloth, and really loved and wanted, but not badly enough to pay $26 + shipping for. Just when I had resigned to coveting from afar, the exact beret was spotted on the clearance table of a shop in my town. I can't remember if it was $10 or $15 - only that it was far less than at ModCloth.
Almost feeling French
This scarf was a birthday gift last year, and I must confess, this is my first time wearing it. I can't say why it's taken me so long. I actually quite like how the sheer element offers some unique layering effects.

Chloe is a Bichon Frise, so she is a French dog.
Outfit photos aren't her favorite though; this is her favorite:

But that is everyone's favorite, isn't it?

Tres chic! (I know no French, so I hope it used this correctly). The hat and the striped dress are darling together.

The beret just finishes the look perfectly and that is such a nice sweater dress.

ps. I'm happy you found the beret somewhere else because supposedly Modcloth clothing can be found in lower price stores. Crazy!! :/

Totally French inspired.... you make me want to try on a beret.
By now you probably know I a a fan of Chloe... now you are going to kill me but I though she was a french poodle... mine are Maltese- family of the bichon, only that mine are overfed.

I really like the sheer scarf :) I'm always envious of people who can wear berets, they look enormously bad on me because I can never get them to stay on. Chloe is so cute! I try to get my cousin's dog to pose with me but he never goes for it either.

your hair looks stunning here, and i think your co-worker was right, the beret is the cherry-on-the-top to this lovely look.
